Although your Mac's hardware is well designed and put together, it's the system software running your Mac that makes it distinct. After all, if Microsoft wanted to put the effort into it, the Redmond company could write a version of Windows that would run just fine on your Mac. (Of course, it would still be Windows, despite the great hardware it was running on.)
