To enlarge everything on your screen and still see the whole screen (as opposed to enlarging a portion of it with the Zoom feature, as shown on pages 397–399), use the “Displays” preferences and choose a lower resolution: the lower the numbers, the lower the resolution and the larger the items on your screen.
To change the sound level, play sound effects for actions on your Mac, choose a microphone or speakers, and more, use the “Sound” preferences.
