Configuring VM template and VM customization specifications in vCenter

Here are the steps to configure a VM template and VM customization specifications in vCenter:

  1. Log in to the vCenter Server as administrator and create a VM for blueprint use (refer to Chapter 4, Configuring a Guest OS for vRealize Automation vSphere Blueprints for more details).
  2. Create a VM snapshot in the vCenter server if Linked Clone will be used while creating a vRA Blueprint.
  3. Using the customization specifications manager in vCenter creates a customization spec.
