Sprite Packer

Unity has a built-in tool for packing multiple sprites into a single sprite sheet called the Sprite Packer (Figure 3.8). Unfortunately, this is a Unity Pro feature, so we will just briefly discuss it for the benefit of those of you who have access to the Sprite Packer tool.

When you open the Sprite Packer window, it will show an empty canvas. Select a sprite asset that has been given a Packing Tag, and left-click the Pack button in the Sprite Packer. This will pack any of the sprites into a single sprite sheet. There are a couple of settings for the Sprite Packer ...
