3D Formats

Unity accepts a number of 3D formats; Table 2.1 lists the popular ones. FBX and OBJ are the most widely used formats as they can be exported from a number of different packages. While this list does show native 3D software support such as Maya and 3ds Max, Unity will import these using the software’s FBX exporter.
