After the concerns are dealt with, the implementation decision is added to the model as shown in Figure 5-8. There are a number of issues in the implementation stage that must be addressed. Many of these are unique to the type of improvement strategy that is to be implemented. For example, if the improvement strategy to be implemented is to offer a particular degree or certificate online, then a choice will have to be made as to whether to offer each course online as it is developed, or to wait until enough courses have been developed for online delivery that students can take a full load of online courses.
