Gateway-based routing

The gateway-based routing policy is utilized to route requests to different service request URLs based on the gateway to which the API is deployed. Chapter 5, Platform Setup and Gateway Configuration dealt with the concept of handling different environments such as development, test, user acceptance test (UAT), and production. This policy is an important policy as it allows the API manager to define a policy once and tailor it for different environments based on the gateway from which it was routed.
