Platform Setup and Gateway Configuration

In the previous chapters we got an overview of the APIP CS and a use case on which to hang our explanations, along with using the design aspects of the platform. In this chapter, we work through the process of taking the platform from enabling API design, to the point at which real API calls can be received, passed on to an application, and return responses. To produce an appropriately sized and configured environment, a number of questions need to have answers teased out. As the chapter progresses these questions, will be answered and the reasons for asking the questions become apparent.
