Synopsis

Use ISREF to look at the specified reference and return a logical value of TRUE if it is a reference to another cell; otherwise, the function returns a value of FALSE.

=ISREF(Value)

Example

Figure 20-3 illustrates how to use ISREF. You will notice that the function returned a value of TRUE for all cells in the column. This is due to the fact that the value of the argument Value was a reference to a cell within column A.
