TRIM

Synopsis

Use TRIM to remove excess spaces from a text string. The function leaves one space between words in the string and removes all excess spaces.

=TRIM(Text)

Example

Figure 18-8 illustrates how TRIM is used to remove the extra spaces that may exist within a text string. The example also illustrates how to use UPPER to convert all of the text in the string to uppercase.
