Synopsis
Use
DGET to extract the
specified value from a database table that matches the conditions
specified by the Criteria
argument.
To Calculate
=DGET(Database
,Field
,Criteria
)
All three arguments are required for this function.
Example
Figure 17-1 illustrates how to use DGET to find the
state that had sales totals exceeding $100,000. This function can
only return one value, so if there had been multiple states that met
the criterion the function would return an error value of
#NUM!
