Synopsis
Use ASIN to determine the arcsine of a number. The result of the function is expressed in radians.
To Calculate
=ASIN(Number)-
Number This required argument must specify a number between -1 and 1 that indicates the sine value.
Example
Figure 14-2 illustrates how ASIN is used to determine the arcsine for an angle based on the sine value. You will notice the arcsine amount is equal to the radian measurement of the angle.
