Name

ACOSH

Synopsis

You can use ACOSH to determine the inverse hyperbolic cosine of a number.

To Calculate

=ACOSH(Number)
Number

This required argument must specify a numeric value that is larger than 1.

Example

Figure 14-3 illustrates how you can use the hyperbolic functions. Since ACOSH is the inverse of COSH, you will notice that the value returned by ACOSH is equal to the value that was passed to COSH.

You will notice that there is hyperbolic function that corresponds to each trigonometric function
