DOLLARFR

Synopsis

DOLLARFR (an Analysis ToolPak function) allows you to convert a decimal dollar amount to a fractional amount.

To Calculate

=DOLLARFR(Fractional_Dollar, Fraction)

Both of the arguments are required for this function.

Decimal_Dollar

Must be a decimal value that indicates dollar amount.

Fraction

Indicates the denominator of the fraction. This is the value that you want to appear on the bottom of the fraction. For example, if you want the bottom of the fraction to be 8, such as 3/8 the value of the argument would be 8.

Figure 12-7 shows how you can use DOLLARFR to convert a decimal value into the equivalent fractional amount.
