Chapter 4. Design for remote access

This chapter reviews the two design aspects for remote access, including how to plan for the remote connectivity, which consists of the connection method that users and clients use, as well as the authentication method that is used. The second design aspect for remote access is the number of mobility options available to users today. With many organizations implementing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) model, managing how users and devices can connect to a corporate network has become increasingly important.
