It seems only fitting that this last chapter should address the probable next step in the evolution of Enhydra XMLC. Enhydra Barracuda is a presentation framework that goes further than XMLC to present a set of easy-to-use modules based on a component view of presentation development. Starting with the traditional view of client/server development tools, Barracuda builds on the fundamental value of XMLC to natively separate markup from Java logic to abstract away the low-level detail work of DOM manipulation.
