XMLC: Where the Value Is

XMLC makes no excuses for its low-level approach to supporting presentation development. It is a simple, elegant approach to ensure complete separation of logic and content. With a low-level approach, there is great flexibility. You have many options for a basic presentation architecture. If your application requires support for multiple XML languages representing many display devices, then XMLC is a solid option.

XMLC does not provide a lot of task-insulating abstraction, except that provided by the accessor methods, the implemented DOM sub-interfaces (for example, HTML and WML), and some of the methods in the XMLCUtil class.
