In every wedding, key moments are a vital part of the wedding story. Some you know to keep an eye out for, such as the moment the groom first sees the bride, but others are spontaneous. The following sections cover ways you can be ready to take pictures of the important moments of a wedding day.

Anticipating the pivotal moments

Not all weddings are the same, but most have a lot in common. Because weddings typically have a similar flow of events (as you find out in Chapter 9), you can do the following things to make sure you successfully document the pivotal moments of the day:
