2.8 Exemplify the concepts of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA)

Confidentiality protects the secrecy of data, information, or resources. It prevents or minimizes unauthorized access to data (see Figure 2.3). It ensures that no one other than the intended recipient of a message receives it or is able to read it. Confidentiality protection provides a means for authorized users to access and interact with resources, but it actively prevents unauthorized users from doing so.
