Chapter 9. Onsite Activities, Part 2: Interviewing

Interviewing constitutes probably the most significant part of an assessment, both because it is the assessment’s most important data collection mechanism and because the assessment’s power to shock, change, solidify, or educate an organization largely works through personal interactions. Ideally interviews develop a sense of a shared mission between the organization and the team. Together they begin using the model’s common vocabulary to understand and improve the organization’s processes, efficiency, and success.
