Direct KVM Access

UCS administrators can now access the server KVMs without going through the Cisco UCS Manager. You can point your browser (http/https) to the blade server management IP address (https://<cimc-blade_mgmt_ip>) and access the blade KVM directly. Figure 16-20 shows the direct KVM access screen.

Direct KVM can now be accessed via the out-of-band (OOB) management network or in-band via the data path. You can configure OOB and in-band management IP ranges in Cisco UCS, allowing you to access the CIMC/KVM via multiple sessions and routes.
