Cisco UCS Templates
The Cisco UCS Manager utilizes templates to promote reusability, automation, and domain-specific grouping of parameters, settings to assist with specialist teams, such as LAN, SAN within an organization to create the required pools and policies to be consumed in service profile templates. Cisco UCS can also consist of physical resource pools, which are mainly server pools either grouped based on a certain qualification criteria or treated as a holding area for available computer nodes. Figure 15-5 identifies the various Cisco UCS template types and resource pools available for their consumption.
