Cisco UCS C-series Best Practices for Populating DRAM

Because both UCS C-series and B-series computer servers are based on the same underlying microprocessor architecture, the premise described earlier regarding populating memory on these systems is the same. Nevertheless, the best practice for C-series rackmount servers still depends on the server model, the number of CPUs configured, and the type of memory DIMM/speed utilized. Table 13-13 shows the best practice for populating DRAM for best performance and assumes the server consists of the ideal CPU configurations.
