Verify Initiator and Target Fabric Login
In Chapters 6 and 7 we discussed a theoretical explanation of Virtual SAN (VSAN), zoning, Fibre Channel Services, Fibre Channel concepts, and SAN topologies. In this section we discuss the configuration and verification steps to build a Fibre Channel SAN topology. In this chapter we build up the following sample SAN topology together to practice what we have learned so far (see Figure 9-6).
