Cisco Nexus 3000 Product Family
The Nexus 3000 switches are part of the Cisco Unified Fabric architecture; they offer high performance and high density at ultra low latency. The Nexus 3000 switches are 1 RU server access switches. This product family consists of multiple switch models: the Nexus 3000 Series, Nexus 3100 Series, and Nexus 3500 switches.
The Nexus 3000 Series consists of five models: Nexus 3064X, Nexus 3064-32T, Nexus 3064T, Nexus 3016Q, and 3048; they are shown in Figure 2-45. All of them offer wire rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 on all ports, and ultra low latency. These are compact 1RU 1/10/40-Gbps Ethernet switches. Table 2-16 gives a comparison and specifications of these different models.
