VLAN Guidelines for Cisco Nexus Switches

Cisco Nexus switches support 4094 VLANs, by default; however, VLANs 3968–4094 are considered reserved for system use. When creating VLANs on Nexus switches, it is important not to use one in this reserved range. Table 10-2 outlines some other considerations that are important to note when creating or configuring VLANs on a Nexus switch.
