Banners
Creating a Banner
Cisco switches can display a variety of banners depending on what a router or switch administrator is doing. A banner is simply some text that appears on the screen for the user. You can configure a router or switch to display multiple banners, some before login and some after. Table 8-2 lists the three most popular banners and their typical use with Telnet.
