Introduction to the Statistics Process
Statistics often seems
like an impenetrable jungle full of dangers and dinosaurs (statistics
professors?) However, at the heart of most statistics is a relatively
simple process, which anyone can understand and learn to apply so
that the world of statistics becomes easier to understand.
Figure 2.1 The fundamental process of statistics displays this
process in a pictorial format, and the following sections briefly
describe each step.
