Chapter 13 examines the ranges of physical resources which may be required in order to operate a business, e.g. plant and equipment, furniture, office machines and computers, stock, delivery vehicles etc., and the way these are purchased from suppliers and financed, the timing of their acquisition and the control systems used to monitor them. It also relates to contracts of supply with public utilities which may be different from those encountered in a domestic situation.
