Mobile Device Management
Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools are used for managing devices in an enterprise, what are known as BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). MDM is now a multi-billion-dollar industry, and there are some more mature products out there that will help you manage employees’ devices in a consistent way across your enterprise.
Figure 8-6 shows a list of devices that are being managed using VMware’s MDM solution, AirWatch.
