In Chapter 17, “Java Server Pages,” we looked at how custom Java code can be used to create dynamic content using the Java Server Pages (JSP) API. As discussed, the JSP API allows Web content to be designed in a similar fashion to an HTML/XML page, but with the power and the functionality of the Java language to assemble dynamic content.
