A Real Example

The following is an example of zero gravity thinking in action. Leslie and I were involved in helping a team during a user story writing session. Although we were not specifically identified as ZGTers, we were participating to help a team create better user stories—and we simply brought zero gravity thinking to the task.

In this example, the following user story had been written by the team:

“As a customer, I want to use the IBM cache instead of the default, open-source cache so that I have improved performance.”10
