Stakeholder Interaction Is Not Optional

Do we really need to say any more on this point? Hopefully no! However, we will point out that the principles of the Agile Manifesto are clear regarding focus on customer’s needs: “Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer...,” and “...Agile processes harness change for the customer’s competitive advantage.”5 Engaging regularly, actively, and directly with customers is the best way to ensure they’re satisfied and that they’re gaining the benefits your product is ostensibly designed to provide. Customers get to see the solutions to their problems as they are developed and provide valuable feedback.
