12.6. Summary

In this chapter, I discussed several techniques that will help ensure that your Access applications are capable of handling multiple users and performing well. You also explored various ways to fine-tune, secure, and test Access applications. You looked at various implementation options, as well as some maintenance issues that should be addressed to ensure that your hard work in building the application is not wasted. The concepts covered up to this point have illustrated the basics of building applications and have prepared you for the final two chapters. Chapters 13 and 14 are hands-on case studies that will allow you to build real-world applications, while solidifying the concepts covered in all the prior chapters.
