Uninstalling Apps

If you have an app that is defective, takes up too much room, or is no longer useful, then you can uninstall it. One method to uninstall an app is to use the App tray:

  1. Tap the App tray.
  2. Long press the app from within the App tray.
  3. Drag the app to the right corner of the screen where it says Uninstall (if it says Remove, you’re not in the App tray).

Another way to uninstall an app is to go to its Details page in the Android Market. You’ll see an Uninstall button, as shown in Figure 13–6. Simply tap it to remove your app.
