Tumblr
Tumblr is a bit like a multimedia microblog. Blogs created with Tumblr are called Tumblogs. Although most posts are short, they aren’t restricted by Twitter’s 140 character limitation, and they can contain lots of embedded media. Tumblr is really an ideal format for tablet posts since it draws on the strengths of tablets as a multimedia production tool, but without requiring excessive typing.
Tumblr offers an official app for Android tablets (see Figure 15–8), and there are several third-party Tumblr apps available, as well.
