The Notification Panel
Now that you've explored the left side of the System bar, it's time to look at the right side. Figure 2–2 shows the Notification panel and the quick settings area. You'll see system notifications, such as time, battery status, and data signal strength.
You'll also see alerts and status messages from different apps. For instance, you may see a notice that you've got a new email message, an alert that someone has commented on your Facebook post, or a message that there's an update available for Angry Birds.
