Optimizing Content with the AdWords Editor

In the last two chapters, we went through examples of why it is best to have your campaigns only set to search or to content. If your campaigns are currently set to both, do not fret—with the AdWords Editor, it will take you only a minute to duplicate your campaigns and change the appropriate settings.

First, navigate to the campaign that you want to duplicate. Then use the copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) functions to duplicate that campaign. With those two simple keystrokes, you now have two identical campaigns.

The campaign you just created will have an error associated with it because it has the same name as another campaign (Figure 12-18). Rename the first campaign to Current Campaign Name - Search. ...
