With version 1.5, Premiere Pro provides a new degree of portability and flexibility. One of the most important reasons is the Project Manager, with which you can consolidate, back up, and trim your project to its essential elements. (See Figure 22.1.) Another is Premiere Pro 1.5’s support of exporting and importing EDLs (edit decision lists) and AAF (advanced authoring format) files.
