Part 3: HTML Forms

Now that you know all about LiveCycle Designer and PDF forms, it’s time to learn how you can use Designer to create HTML forms. Although the LiveCycle Forms module has previously been able to render HTML forms, the new methodologies that began in LiveCycle ES4 are substantially more advanced. Previously, LiveCycle Forms supported only a small subset of Designer’s features and functionality in its HTML rendering. However, the new features introduced in ES4 will render HTML forms that look and feel remarkably similar to the PDF forms you are familiar with. Part 3 will explore Adobe’s new tools and techniques and show you best practices and examples of real-world HTML forms.
