Updating Programs
Software developers frequently update their programs, which may offer new features or eliminate problems with a previous program. To check whether any of your programs need updating, the App Store provides a handy Updates icon. This feature compares the applications installed on your iPhone to the latest versions of the same programs offered in the App Store. If you have an older version of a program, you can install the updated version through the App Store.
To check for and install updates on your iPhone, do this:
