We offer a full satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not satisfied and cancel your membership within 14 days from the day you signed up, we will refund your entire membership amount.

How much of a discount is this offer?

We are offering a price of $199 for one year, which is half the price of a one year membership—Safari usually costs $399 per year.

Can I pay monthly and still get the same price?

No, the price of $199 is for one year of membership, but you have nothing to lose. We’re confident that you will see the tremendous value of an annual membership, but do try it out for 14 days. If during that period you’re not satisfied with the value, just cancel your membership. Any cancellations within the first 14 days will be refunded 100%.

Will my price change after the first year?

Yes. After your first year of membership, your subscription will renew on an annual basis at the then—current standard rate thereafter.

I have a monthly membership to Safari. Am I still eligible for the $199 offer?

Yes! This sale is the perfect opportunity to upgrade from a month-to-month membership to one year at the amazing price of $199. That works out to be 54 cents a day.

What type of membership is eligible for the $199 offer?

New individual annual memberships are eligible for the $199 offer.

I have an account on Classic ‘Blue’ Safari, am I eligible? How do I sign up?

Yes, as a classic user you are eligible and will be offered the special $199 introductory pricing for the first year. To upgrade your account, simply go to https://www.safaribooksonline.com/public/classic-upgrade/ and follow sign-up process. It only takes a moment.

I’m a Classic user and in the middle of my annual account, will I get refunded or how does that work?

If you have an annual Classic account you will get a prorated refund of the rest of your membership term AND you will pay the $199 in your new membership immediately. The refund will take 5-7 working days.

Also, you will no longer have access to your classic account upon upgrade, but we can run a report to get a list of your files and favorites. You will want to make sure you have downloaded any content you purchased with tokens before the account is turned off after the upgrade. We can also give you a few extra days on your Classic account to get your files, downloads, etc. Just reach out to us at support@safaribooksonline.com and we can help.

I have a Classic month-to-month account, and I want to upgrade over to get this amazing promotion. Will I get a refund for the rest of this month?

The month-to-month accounts are not eligible for partial-month refunds.

Why is the charge more than $199? Is there a mistake?

Your membership is taxable; the most common reason for the small difference between the $199 and your invoice is tax.

I’m tax exempt and should not be charged tax or VAT

Our single user accounts are not tax exempt. However, we do offer tax exempt status for our Team and/or Enterprise accounts.

I have an active trial membership and still have some days left. When will my paid membership start?

You will be charged $199 for your paid membership when your trial membership ends. After your first year of membership, your membership will renew on an annual basis at the then-current standard rate thereafter.

Can I get an invoice/receipt for my membership?

Great news, your invoice is part of your membership. Sign into your Safari membership, then go to Settings, Plans and Payments. Scroll down to the bottom and there will be a link to a PDF copy of your receipt.
