Part 2. A Core Application

Now that we know what Zend Framework is and understand the basics of creating a Zend Framework application, in Chapters 3-11 we’ll build a real-world application to use throughout the rest of the book. While looking at the core Zend Framework components that are used for building a typical website, we’ll see how they are integrated into a coherent whole.

Along with authentication, access control, forms, searching, and email, we’ll cover implementing Ajax within an MVC application. Finally, we’ll look at management and deployment issues, including version control and testing.
