Hands, Feet, and Figure Finish

In this chapter, you will look at sculpting the hands and feet of the fgure as well as do an overall finishing pass to add the impression of skin and fat over the highly developed muscled figure. Hands and feet are among the most challenging elements to draw and sculpt on the body. The hands, for example, are highly complex machines with which we are all intimately familiar. They have the ability to express a vast array of emotion and actions. The feet as well are complicated compound forms, and both can be simplified by working with them at their most basic levels.
