Finally, Some Good News
A growing amount of material on the Internet is being made available at no charge through something called a “Creative Commons” license. If the work you want to use carries the Creative Commons notice, you are free to share (copy, alter, transform, build upon, distribute, and transmit) and/or remix (adapt) the work—provided you attribute it in the manner that the author or licensor specifies (but not in any way that suggests they endorse you or your use of the work).
