10. Shooting Professional Videos

Most YouTube videos, even those produced by businesses, come from standard consumer-grade equipment in the comfort of someone’s living room, office, or conference room. In the past, at least, few YouTubers, even businesses, went to the trouble and expense of enlisting professional video makers to produce their videos; the expense was too great and the return too small.

This is starting to change, however, especially with larger businesses with big brands to promote. YouTube is becoming a big business, and making a larger investment to produce a more professional image sometimes pays off. It’s a different model than what we’re used to on YouTube, but it’s not as rare as it used to be.
