Chapter 24. Your Inner Game

Knowing "how to" set up and run your Portable Empire is only half the battle.

Yes, the nuts and bolts skills of list building, copywriting, product creation, and relationship marketing are all important. You need these skills.

However, I think the "mindset of success" skills are even more important.

The Internet marketing universe is densely populated with people who know "how to," and still aren't successful.

I've never met anyone who had their inner game together who wasn't successful.

For example, my friend Joe Vitale doesn't have a clue how to design a web page and put it online. Cindy Cashman is even less interested in the technical aspects of internet marketing than Joe.

They've both made millions of dollars. They seem to magically attract what they need.

I've asked Cindy how she comes up with answers and inspiration. She says, "PFA!"

"What's PFA?"

"Pluck From Air," she says. Then she giggles. She makes it look easy, because, to her, it is easy. She doesn't need to know "how to." She's living the mind-set of success.

This mind-set is a little more challenging to teach, because each person starts from where they are, with their own beliefs, filters, and preconceptions.

The following chapters contain hints and clues. I've included stories with examples of how I've grown and learned to use my inner game to improve my business.

To further explore your inner game, I recommend that you get a copy of The Attractor Factor, by Dr. Joe Vitale, and read it. And live it. ...
