Chapter 23. Marna's Story

Six months ago I was working as vice president of marketing for a local hospice making between $60,000 and $80,000, depending on bonuses, which are taxed at 40 percent. Really, I was bringing home, after taxes, around $35,000 to $45,000.

Six wonderful months ago, I decided to quit my job and work full-time on my business, thinwithin.com. While I'm writing this, it's 10:30 a.m. and I'm still sitting in bed with my pajamas on absolutely loving life. I have four new partnerships in the works, I'm far surpassing the amount of money I was bringing in before, and I have time to do the things I love and be with people I care about. I am also full of possibilities, life, and energy. The stress in my life and my body have totally vanished.

Further, I did attend Pat's Unseminar 2 and I kid you not, the very next month, thinwithin.com doubled the amount of money it brought in from the month prior.

After I quit my job, I was tempted to follow up on other vice president or director job opportunities that colleagues told me about. Now, I would never think of it! This is the life. It's miraculous. Every day I wake up so grateful to have the clients, the partnerships, and the opportunities I have.
