Cloud is a metaphor for the Internet.

Cloud computing is a paradigm shift in computing. Instead of applications being installed locally on a user’s own computer, cloud-based applications are available to computers and other devices on demand via the Internet.

Cloud storage refers to computer files that are stored on the Internet. Photos on Flickr and videos on YouTube are examples of files stored in the cloud.

Data “myning” is a term coined by TrendWatching.com. A play on data mining, it’s the act of users claiming the data on the Internet that belongs to them.

Digital executor is the person you appoint to handle your digital affairs after you die. He or she distributes your digital assets to the heirs whom you specify.
