We are becoming a digital culture, with digital assets. Before we go much further we need to answer the question:

“What happens to your digital stuff after you die?”

This is the central question that we strive to answer with this book. As it stands right now, with a little preparation, your data can live on for the next generation and possibly much longer. But the purpose and form of your data’s afterlife is still very much in flux.
